Spiritual Focus

"As Brittany realized her self worth, she grew
closer to God, and in her renewed relationship
with Christ, emerged like a new creation."
Bonnie Crawford, mother of former PATCH resident

The Spiritual Program at Project PATCH Ranch begins with screening and hiring staff who have passed a background check and are dedicated/practicing Christians.

Our staff are dedicated to PATCH’s mission of reaching out to at-risk young people, helping them realize their self-worth and the significance of God’s love for them.

The Chaplain coordinates the spiritual activities.
He stands ready to assist staff in accomplishing
their goals of spiritual growth by:

Supporting residents and staff
Exemplifying the life and teachings of Jesus Christ
Cooperating with staff in life and spiritual issues of residents
Leading Bible classes
Guiding discipleship groups
Offering one-on-one sessions with residents and staff
Conducting church services and Bible study groups; supervising and directing the spiritual growth of residents in co-operation with staff’s goals and therapeutic objectives in the behavioral modification aspect of PATCH’s mission statement – “Restoring troubled youth.”
Implementing Biblical principles such as those found in Matthew 18:15-17 that are part of the levels program. The principle of forgiveness also plays an important role in therapy.
