Construction Progress

The following has been accomplished on the property through the dedication of many volunteers and a small group of devoted staff.

Infrastructure:

  • Constructed to county standard, 1.5 miles of new road through rough terrain.
  • Drilled two wells, each over 500 feet deep, with 30 gpm and 50 gpm respectively.
  • One mile of power line has been brought onto the property.
  • Water, power and septic all installed
  • Five RV sites with full hook-ups
  • Hiking trails and two gazebos constructed

  Buildings:

  • One duplex, 1,600 square feet per unit, completed with final inspection.
  • Four cabins, 500 square feet each, completed with final inspection.
  • 10,000-square-foot lodge completed.  Awaiting completion of pump house and fire suppression system.  Anticipated completion March 2010.
  • 6,000-square-foot shop, with large classroom, framed and enclosed.
  • Pump House, 3 tanks for fire suppression and drinking water.  Storage and fire truck parking.  Estimated completion, March 2010.
