Meet the Writer

Hi!  I’m Chuck Hagele, Executive Director of Project Patch.  I love and enjoy the company of my wife of over 22 years and our three kids.

When I’m not focused on being a dad or leading Project Patch, I enjoy running, fly-fishing, eating, and pursuing any other adventure I can find.  Did I mention I enjoy food?

I have my degree in theology with a minor psychology, and followed that with a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on Information Management.  I’m also an ICF Certified Professional Coach.

In 1988 I spent my first summer working at a youth camp and I was hooked: I knew I wanted to work with youth.  So I tried a few different jobs serving young people until I settled into Project Patch, a job I love and consider more of a passionate ministry than a job.

I hope you enjoy this blog.  But, more than anything, I hope you find it useful enough to implement positive changes into your parenting, and encouraging enough to help you realize you’re doing your best at a very difficult job.  I look forward to sharing regular parenting tips and resources, personal experiences, and more with you here.  I encourage you to subscribe to this blog so you can easily have our weekly posts conveniently delivered directly to you.

I’d like to connect with anyone interested in positive parenting; you can contact me with questions or comments regarding something you’ve read here, parenting in general, or Project Patch; email Contact US.
