Seminars
Below is a list of seminars & workshops offered by Project PATCH staff. The goal of these seminars is to give attendees hope, insight, and skills to make an impact in a kid's life.
Project PATCH has been working with at-risk teens and their families since 1984 and during that time has discovered key principles for building rapport, communication, creating teaching moments, and sharing Christ with both youth and families.
These sessions are all about focusing on the present reality rather than increasing guilt and shame. We incorporate Biblical concepts, helpful resources and creativity to tack life's challenges.
Most seminars can be presented in either a "stained glass" format which is designed specifically for Christian audiences or the "plain glass" version for a secular audience. Both sessions teach the topic from a Christian perspective but the "plain glass" presentation does not assume the authority of scripture. It is important for both audiences that they leave understanding that we believe that God cares deeply for children and families. We just present that message differently.
