Application Overview

Congratulations on taking the difficult steps to find help for your teen. We understand that it is hard to know if a program will help your teen and we are wanting to partner with you in the process.

Because Project PATCH requires a significant investment of time and money, and most importantly, the care of your teen, we want to proceed carefully to determine whether Project PATCH is appropriate and if not, help identify core areas to consider and guide you to other more appropriate resources.

The application is a four step process.

  1. Pre-Application Review
  2. Application Process
  3. Financial Process
  4. Intake Interview/Admissions

Step 1

Behavior/Needs Survey

Take an online survey which helps our admissions staff determine whether the teen is a good fit for our program at the Youth Ranch.

This is an extensive process that will require filling out an application as well as names for references.

Step 4

Intake Interview/Admissions

Once the application is reviewed by Admissions and Youth Ranch Team, the final step is setting an Intake Interview at the Youth Ranch.

If the teen is accepted, the teen immediately begins the program and parents complete final paperwork.

  • Admissions Coordinator will call to schedule date and time of Intake Interview
  • All necessary forms, packing lists, and instructions will be sent to you
  • Bring teen, his belongings and paperwork to Youth Ranch
  • Intake Interview will occur, teen will be admitted if interview matches expectations set in application process
  • Parents complete paperwork and leave ranch
  • Teen is admitted into the program.
