Financial Information
Project PATCH works to provide excellent and affordable care. The primary consideration for the admissions process is determining whether your child is a fit for our program. A secondary consideration is working with the parent to afford the care.

Financial Aid
Some families are unable to pay the full tuition of $4,700 per month, so PATCH has developed the Sliding Scale Plan which provides sponsorships based on income and ability to pay. Our accounting department has a formula to determine this amount, which in general is based on a figure of 3% of annual gross income from most recent income tax return, with some other factors figured in to reach what we believe is a reasonable fee.
The minimum tuition fee in this plan is $1,500 per month. For families that are not able to pay the full fee, we ask that you request help from family, friends, and your local church.
For all families requesting financial aid, please keep in mind of the following:
- Project PATCH staff are living at a sacrificial level to make the program as affordable as possible.
- Project PATCH donors generously give so that children they do not even know can attend this program.
- We ask that if you are applying for financial aid that you also live at a sacrificial level. This typically means getting rid of all non-necessity expenses while you are receiving financial aid. Examples include not contributing to retirement/college funds, canceling cable/satellite tv, reducing food/clothing budget, limiting donations, and eliminating expensive gift-giving.
For families that are unable to raise $1,500 through income and support from family, friends and church, a possible solution is the Connecting Hearts Scholarship. Through this program, a reduced tuition fee can be established, however the wait may be longer to get your teen into the Youth Ranch due to the limited number of spots we have available for these significantly reduced rates.
Apply for Financial Aid
In order to be considered for the Sliding Scale Plan or for the Connecting Hearts Scholarship, the parent/guardian must submit the following:
- Household Monthly Budget (Excel, PDF)
- Scholarship Application
- Most recent income tax return
- Most recent pay stubs
- Documentation of any other income (unemployment, child support, etc.)
Project PATCH's accounting department will review the file and work with the scholarship committee to set the amount of the tuition.
